The biting will stop fairly quickly if you don't pay any attention to them when they do it.
Difficult, I know, when you've just had sharp little teeth sunk into your precious flesh, but believe me, it works.
Alternatively, next time it happens, take whichever one it is who's the cuplrit off the breast, say firmly "no, if you do it again you can't feed" and put them back on. If they do it again straightaway, then do the same, only this time say "I warned you, no feeding right now." They're not so young that they can't understand consequences.
It might also help for you to take some deep relaxing breaths before each feed, and keep your shoulders down and loose and your arms as relaxed as they can be when supporting a one year old.
If you can get over this hurdle there is no reason why you can't carry on feeding for many months (years?!) to come.

How often do you nurse them? Try cutting down maybe ...perhaps, dont let them 'on demand' feed anymore, just snuggly time in the AM and maybe for nap and bedtime or some sort of routine like that. They know its coming, you know its coming....maybe you will feel less stressed if you dont have to do it so often? Also, they are old enough if one bites you...take him off the breast, put him down...say a firm 'NO' You dont have to put up with biting. Also, if one should really bite hard, pinch his nose, this cuts off oxygen and forces him to let go (an old trick if you havent heard yet)

Breast is best, I agree, but only until they are weaned onto solid food. By one year of age, most of their nutrition should be coming from solid food, and breast is only providing comfort at best.
You've done a great job, but there is really no reason now to continue. Once a child has a lot of teeth, you're kinda putting yourself at risk each time they feed!
Immunity has already been conferred by now, so no reason to feel guilty on that front either.
I would slowly withdraw breast feeding now, over a week or two, so that it's only available for a short time at bedtime.
Within another week or two, I would also withdraw that too.
Good luck. You really don't want your children to be running up to you to be breastfed, do you?

breastfeeding definitely facilitates you lose the burden quicker...first, you burn around 500 energy an afternoon in keeping with infant with the aid of producing the milk. 2nd, nursing facilitates your uterus to contract and return to its standard length speedier which will make your abdomen look smaller. in case you supply up, you will basically income greater weight. in certainty, my surgeon made me promise that i might shop breastfeeding until I took off the greater beneficial 18 lbs that I nevertheless mandatory to lose after my 6 week verify up positioned up pardum because of the fact breastfeeding might take off the burden.

well, at feeding time... make sure dad is enjoying a good meal on the breasts.. this way the child gets hungry and you can show them that the feed bags are busy and hand them a bottle. eventually they will get the picture.

To wean them, slowly reduce the number of feedings a day. This will make it less painful for you and easier for your babies. Good luck. I know how you feel, my youngest son bit me before, during, and after a feeding WITH TEETH! It was horrible. LOL

Have you considered expressing milk and bottle feeding? It worked well for both of ours, although we only had one at a time.
This will also free you up, and enable your partner to assist.
