I think the law is only in effect if they are given amnesty. Anyway it is its simply wrong.They will combine the work credits in their home nation with at least 18 months of work here in the USA.And they get it only if they are granted amnesty.Another reason against amnesty for illegal aliens.Legal Americans must work 10 years for the same benefits.

The illegal's are not the problem with Social In-Security. The problem is that our Government keeps robbing the fund and moving it to the General Fund.

No. AND if you are not aware immigrants and I'm talking all who come here and work legally never pay into Social Security. Retire here in the States and then move to another country i.e. Canada, phillipines and collect social security. Look that one up bud.

They have not worked and paid into the Social Security fund. I am sure these illegals don't vote, they don't pay state or federal taxes, but yet we are going to pay them?...for what? For sneaking into our country, sneaking into our jobs, accepting food stamps, welfare, and medicaid?
I think it's crap! Illegal immigrants don't deserve anything from the US except a one way ticket home~now I'd even pay out of my own pocket for that!!

Hell no! The should come into American legally and apply for citizenship. If they are illegal and are paying social security from their jobs in the US they should still not get any at all. If they are proud of their country...........then go the hell home!

i have a friend that's a veteran and he cant get any benefits but when he walkes into the food stamps office there giving Hispanics that cant even speak English food stamps left and right people wonder why social security isn't working its bec there are less people paying into it then receiving it there is no way a Mexican should get it bec they were in Mexico there whole life not paying into social security of even paying u.s. taxes

No.They are here illegally so therefore they aren't entitled to benefits and most illegals are paid in cash so there is no paper trail for the gov to follow up on.

Illegal = no benefits and deportation. It is the law.
It only needs to be enforced.
We need to uncap our oil production and tell Mexico to go scratch. We have many wells that could produce right here that are capped off!!
