She will grow out of it, our staffies all have, i just tell them No and give them a toy saying good dog - Saying ouch is a good one too.
Someone had answered earlier saying they is no such thing as a pitbull - Well there is a breed called a pitbull (American Pitbull Terrier) (why we are talking about pitbulls - i do not know as i thought this was a question about a staffie)

When she puts her teeth on you during play, yell OUCH and stop playing.
And there is no such breed as "pitbull" for it to be on the news anyway. Pit bull is a generic term used to discribe several different breeds, including your American Staffordshire Terrier. You need to take the same precautions as other "pitbull" owners and you can start by properly training your dog.
*EDIT*
I do know that there is a breed called the American Pit Bull Terrier but PIT BULL is a generic term used to describe many breeds of dogs (APBT, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, sometimes even American Bulldogs and others I'm sure I'm missing.) He was acting as if there was some huge difference between the two. If his dog bit someone, would the media be sure to state it was a Staffy? Nope. It's just another pit bull to them. And another bite is all it could take for "pit bulls" in his area to be banned.

The best way is every time she nips you is to yell out loudly in a high pitched voice, this would be how her litter mates would react and it imediantly stops play. Also tell her no loudly and firmly and put her in a seperate room for 5-10 mins, dont encourage rough and boistrous play as this makes the nipping worse. She should soon get the idea that play biting is not wanted and that it hurts you.Dont let it continue though as pups dont grow out of it they continue thinking that it's normal, and an adult dog with adult teeth is no fun.Good luck

one thing you should do is watch the dog whisperer he gives great advice. If your playing with her and she bits there are a couple things you can do one take your hands away from her reach put them behind your back. YOu can say NO and remove your hands or Say no and replace your hand with a chew toy and say chew on this plus dogs sometimes start losing there teeth which can cause they to chew. HOpe this helped GOOD LUCK OH and dont listen to tiger there not dangerous unless you dont train them properly and treat them with a little Tlc

Get her chew toys, then whenever she bites on something she's not supposed to, say "No!" quite loudly, then give her the chew toy to distract her. If you do this over and over, she should stop biting on stuff she's not allowed to. If she bites you, do the same thing, but say "ouch!" even if it doesn't hurt. Make sure you get her trained before she's older!

well it all depends is she done teething? If not take your puppy to the pet store, show her the chew toys that you will be willing to buy for her, let her choose her favorite, play with her and that toy whenever you can, if she countinous her playful biting tell her no and give her her toy to chew on whenever you see her chewing on it reward her.
