It's difficult at times but I'm getting a lot better at it.

I like the way that you lumped these two birds of a feather together.

Were either of them my enemies? In a very non-trivial sense Bush was more at war with me than Saddam.

Which of course does not mean that Saddam was a better person than Bush just that he was not my 'enemy'.

Loving does not necessarily mean that we must agree with their sin. In fact, we should never agree with the sin of another person, for to agree with sin is to be subject to practicing it. I certainly do not want to practice the sin of either one of these men. I feel that it is unfortunate that both of these men have led misguided lives. Saddam could have been a great stabilizing force in the Middle East had he not bent his ways toward bloodiness. Bush could have gone down in history as a great President if it weren't for his stubbornness. Both were appointed by God, as all authorities are; therefore, they must be respected.

Husein and Bush are victims of their societies rituals. They were mis informed but it isn't their faults they believe what their parents taught them. Pride and arrogance are the real enemy. Foregiveness and understanding are better than an eye for an eye, a child for a child.

I will admit now that i am not very religious. but Jesus has a point. I am a firm believer that if you show love to people that they will love you back. While they are both dipshits, it is important that we love our neighbors. we all belong to the same Earth and if we could respect and forgive everyone we could be more united and that's really what we should all be striving for.

Yes I do. I would save either of them or help them if they were in danger. Hate + Hate =more hate. Counteracting evil deeds with more evil deeds just creates bloodshed and oppression. Loving our fellow man is our duty. We can disagree and protest our oppression by the wicked acts of such men, but we still should regard them in the light that they were created by the same God that created the Heavens and Earth, and we all share the same breath.
