If it's what you want, go for it. But beware that lots of women tend to get "attached" to their sexual partners so it may not remain solely sexual on their part.

Well I would say that if you're single and not seeing anyone, I don't see why not. Now if you're asking from a 'taken but it'd be a booty-call type thing which = cheating' then I would have to say no, it's not worth it.
Let's face it, most people have probably been cheated on sometimetime during their lives. If you've ever been one of those ppl, you know it tears you up inside. And the whole 'never find out' thing doesn't work... sooner or later, it's discovered.
So if you're single, sure why not, however you'd need to lay down ground rules so everyone involved understands that it's not serious, it's just sex. Be specific, because too often both sides apparently 'put out signals' that may not be intended but are interpreted differently by the other person, and then you end up in a Fatal Attraction moment lol.
Hope that helps!

As a man I would like to say that I could get involved in a non commited sexual relationship, but honestly I do not think I could handle it. Personally I believe if you are sleeping with someone you both made a promise to each and are showing one of the deepest forms of affection. Also, in sex there is a lot of trust involved, especially when you think about diseases and pregnancy.
In short I don't think I could do it.

No. It is never a good idea. Either one of the parties ends up being hurt, or both. If you are thinking about doing this, I would think long and hard about (not doing it). In the long run it would be better NOT to get involved.

Sure, as long as both people involved know the parameters of the relationship. You should not use someone else's beliefs in a relationship for sex, but if both know that it is only for sex...use protection and have a great time!!!

If you don't mind burning up your life with meaningless guilt and you don't mind the wasted time. You got one chance, don't waste your youth on non-serious. Use your quality time wisely. You may miss the right one cause of being with the wrong one!

Why not? If all you want is sex, and all they want is sex, it's a perfect set-up. However, if you do want love somewhere down the line, it probably isn't your best idea. Also, it's better if you two are friends before you get into this. It seems less dirty that way.

If that's ALL what you want...and that's ALL the other person wants, then why not?
But, the truth is that at least one of you will end up wanting more, and that's when the problems will start.

it's just called an F-buddy... not totally unusual or problematic. avoids all the emotional issues (usually). it's not for everyone but some people can do it w/o any problems.
