Get your freinds, family and co-workers to set you up with someone. They all make great screeners so you won't have to spend as much time weeding out the weaklings.

And the world of dating is waiting for your appearance Kristina. Just remember that whatever happened in the past deserves maybe 1 or 2 sentences in a conversation - no more. Don't assume all men are the same. Enjoy yourself, don't drink, and relate to everyone honestly. And here are some suggestions:

1. Groom immaculately
2. Dress nicely with cleavage
3. Work harder than ever
4. Spend an hour a day in the library
5. Spend an hour a day at the gym
6. Honor your parents
7. Get involved in a worthy community function
8. Volunteer a few hours a week for a worthy cause
9. Help someone every day
10.Go to Church
11.Invite your friends to Church
12.Take group dance lessons

Good Luck

Wait a year,,,, get to know your self and to like yourself. Know what you want or better yet what you need from a relationship don't go back to the same mistakes as before. Be strong and don't give in until your ready. Most guys are out for the "fun" spend some time getting to know the person if he is really interested in YOU he will wait. if not you will go thru many "relationships" end up alone after a few weeks and feel used. Don't be in a hurry to choose a new mate let it come in time. I don't know of any good places to look, I 've done the Match dot com thing with mixed results met allot of Lady's but none stuck seems on the net they shop for the pretty face I wasn't fortunate enough to have one. Good luck.

go slowly... take one step at a time... do not rush into the first relationship that comes along but just be careful... you are in a vulnerable situation and just coming out of a rough divorce is tough for anyone! I think it would be wise to make some good friends first, have some group activities and then work into the dating scene with someone you are compatible with..... have fun!

-Same situation here.
-I went through a really bad divorce and I'm back out in the dating scene. I forgot how much I hate it.

Sorry, no real advice. It’s a tough thing to go through. Sometimes I would like to give up, but I know there’s another gal walking around looking for me.

Best of luck!

Be more careful in the selection of your next mate..
Don't waste your time on losers..
Charisma and Looks are not the sole criteria for selecting a mate.
Check education, credit history, car, house, previous marriages,
job, income, personality, is he controlling ?, alcohol / drug use ?

just start off easy. Try online websites also. It will let you email the person first and get to know them. Make sure you meet them in crowded places.

Stay away from bars and dives. Go to nice events and give it time. You will find someone nice.

Find a man who adores you, not the one you adore. Oh yes and make sure he has money.
