there very well taken care of,they go back to a heated safe for automobiles,until they decide if they want to put it in production,,because there one of a kind at this point,,so that makes the worth a fortune,,and they are guarded also ,,good luck hope this help,s.

they are used to base a posible new model
that is not as way out as the concept car.
we were at the car show last year in columbus,
the concept ford car was going to be used as a
model for a new car with some alterations

i asked the same question at the Toronto auto show. he said some are kept for a few years for fut er reference most crushed and recycled. the lucky ones are bought and kept in private collection's.

if people like it enough they make it and sell them like the 2006 pontiac solstice was a concept car.
