It was a Blood Clot i had removed from my brain. I did fear it could of come back or maybe turn cancerous. This is not the sort of thing i would like to imagine.

The accident i had was 7 years ago back in 2000

This is a question you need to ask your neurologist. Different areas of the brain control different functions and it can be very specific, ie an operation a few mms away from the one you had can cause totally different effects.
It sounds to me like you are worrying unecessarily. Get a medical check up and then consider councelling to help you through these fears of yours;

When you say you had a Blood Clot, did they Operate and tie the Blood vessel? if it's a Yes you probably had an Aneurysm.
Are you Clipped?
Since your Accident have you found that you get Stressed out and cannot be around people that Talk Loud?

Hopefully you are still being taken care of by the Hospital you had your Operation in, and are having regular check UPS.

I had a Brain Hemorrhage back in 1963 and did have some problems first of all,I couldn't bear to be anywhere where there were bright lights or with lots of people.

I am fine now and have been for several years, try not to worry about it and I am sure it is not going to come back, go and talk to your Doctor and tell him/her about your feelings.

He/She might refer you back to the Hospital and go through it with you and find out why you are still Depressed.
.

See if they can find you somewhere to go to occupy you,something like Arts and Crafts, where there are other people with problems similar to yours,they usually pick you up and take you Home.

I do wish you Luck and hope you have plenty of Family Support.

it depends which part of the brain was operated on. If you havebeen depressed it sounds like the frontal lobe. Am I right? Take up a sport like athletics as then you will produce endophins which will give you a 'lift'. I do not recommend footie or rugby as that is a team sport which might bring out agression instead.

You sound like the depression is caused by fear of "what could be" instead of what "is". You could use a good talk with your doctor or psychologist to get out of the depression and back into living life. Good luck!

Well, in your case, drinking alcohol doesn't help any. I wouldn't suggest anyone drinking alcohol with a brain injury like you.

If I were you dude, I'd go see a shrink about it. They may have something to help you be happy. :)

Best of luck! =)
