Absolutely. I met my husband on the internet (back in the days of bbs' and before the www came about). You fall in love with what's on the inside and don't get duped by a pretty exterior. We are best friends and have been together for 10 years. Or you could listen to those people who picked the guy with the great a.ss, half pissed in their buddies basement with a pool cue shoved up his nose for laughs, he'd be a super boyfriend, yeah.

Yes, it is possible. In fact, let me say it again, YES IT IS POSSIBLE!!! I can say this with total conviction, because I met my wife online, thru pure coincidence on an online game. We talked online every day for almost a year, thru the game, and emails.. eventually we even cybered, tho it was just for fun.
After a year we eventually met when I went halfway across the country to meet her. I visited for a few days, and then had to take the bus back home, but when I got on that bus and realized I wasn't going to see her again for awhile, I started to cry. It was at that moment that I realized that I loved the girl.
Everyone online said we wouldn't last a month, because of the distance factor mostly I suppose. It's been almost 10 years now. We've been married almost 8, have 3 terrific kids (tho today it sounds like they're being little sh!ts lol) and a fourth on the way.
So it CAN work. Speaking from personal experience however, there are some things you need to do.
Firstly, be HONEST. Don't pretend to be someone you're not online. If you're just getting online to cyber this person, it's most likely not going to work. You need to take time, LOTS of time, and get to know them. Talk on the phone, if possible visit each other, hopefully that person is being real too and not having an RL personality that is completely opposite of their online life.
Let things happen at their own pace. If this person is right for you, chances are when the time comes, you'll know it. If it does, don't worry what other people say, you know how you feel, and hopefully that feeling is returned.
Best of luck, and I hope everything works out for you!

That would be a resounding no. Only because, as the saying goes. There is more than meets the eye. There has to be some REALISTIC dating in person bef that can be truly answered. Ive had several friends that did this and 100% didnt work out. Odds are it wont. Sorry to be so negative but its nice to share online etc but when it comes down to the up front and personal, that will make it or break it.

It's called, infatuation, (being a fool for love). Many relationships are short term because the two only thought they were in love. Know who you think you love personaly, and not just over the internet. We can all be moved or aroused sometimes by attention given to us by someone else. Be careful and don't make a mistake you will regret later.

Yes, you can fall in love with the person you think they are, but they may end up to be a different person entirely when you meet in real life. And the sex will definitely be different when it's real.

No...This is infatuation. Real love comes from doing things with the person and watching them deal with everyday life. Going places and having fun with them.Go do that with him and then you'll find out.

No, you cant fall in love with them because someone can type anything and make it sound sincere and they could be truly screwed up. That stalker and rapist stuff is actually real.
