When you are sure that she is the one and that you are compatible and can actually spend your lives together. It is very important that you can talk and tell each other everything and be totally truthful! Don't handicap yourself before you start. I took my wife to a private island by boat and asked her on the beach at sunset and it was beautiful. Be Romantic!!!

Well the right TIME to propose is when you know in your heart that she's the one. If you can see yourself spending the rest of your life with her through thick and thin and would do anything for her then you know. How to propose? Well that depends on the girl. propose to a girl about a year or two then ask her out on a date take her somewhere romantic like the most romantic place in town or in the city she will remember that day till you two get married if she says yes

When you're absolutely certain you want to spend the rest of your life with the person. I think taking her out for a nice dinner with wine and candles (romantic you know) and asking her there. Or making a nice dinner for her at your home, same romantic atmosphere if possible. Good Luck!
