Should a bottle of tequila be refrigerated after it has been opened?

Good tequila is served at room temperature, straight up in small glasses. It's not chugged or "shot," but sipped thoughtfully.

Cheap tequila could be stored the same way you would store kerosene and other corrosives. Those do just fine in the refrigerator if that's where you want to keep them.

Normally you will refrigerate cheap spirits since Refrigerating any spirit will bring down all the tasting notes, therefore you will not be able to appreciate the true flavor and you would not want to do that to a good liquor.

I suggest you keep it cool around 65 F

Take a look at any bar out there. Almost 99% of liquor and liqueurs are out of the fridge either in the speed well or on the wall. If you want it cold, chill with ice. Being cold out of the fridge actually takes away some of the flavour.
