Are seeds where other people are also downloading that file so the more people downloading that file the more seeds you have /you'll get. Is that it? It's very confusing. Or is it something else. It that for peers, and I'm wrong. Can you still download a torrent even if it has 1 seed? Or it can't download, or it can but slowly? Please help

Yeah, you got it right.
If you download a file, you will become a seed yourself, so when someone else wants the file, they will get it off you, as well as other people.
You cannot GET seeds, it depends on how many are connected when you are on line.
And the more seeds that are on line, the quicker you will download.

Seeds are people that let people download the file from them after they are finished downloading themselves. The more seeds, the faster you'll download. If there is only one seed, yes you can still get it but they could exit before you get the whole file.
