Jealousy can be both good and bad.
For example, someone who's jealous of his friend who's doing well in his studies or career, may feel the need to work even harder and spur him/herself further. However, jealousy can also be an undesirable trait if it's taken too far and cause problems in a person's life.
But I think jealousy or envy, if used wisely, can lead to positive effects.

It can be cute, but if you let that jealousy turn into a rage then it is an undesirable trait.

A little jealousy is probably to be expected but too much jealousy is not cute at all but can be very ugly. When someone is obsessively jealous it can lead to a dangerous situation and ruin a relationship.

it depends on the level of jealousy. too much and it is only a hassle and definitely an undesirable trait, just a little i think is normal.

Jealousy is a sickness and a sign of insecurity. If you ACT jealous of things to make your bf/gf more attracted to you, you are not only USING them, you are burning up "karma points" in your relationship.
Don't be jealous, be AWARE. When a guy is "going out with the guys" all the time and blows his gf off, she has a right to be upset and suspicious. Being jealous only puts her more under his control.
Jealousy is an anchor tying insecure people to controlling people.

Jealousy stems from rejection and has many nasty little things attached to it and inevitably a person entertaining jealousy ends up an extremely bitter person. With jealousy go envy anger and pride and these must never in your heart abide!n What does that tell you? How can any one person find those things cute?

It's not a cute thing at all and can cause a lot of problems.
It is very undesirable, I know because I have been quilty of it. Not for lack of reason, but it can control you to an extent that is can ruin your life. It's not possible to not be jealous at times, but you have to keep it under control, which if you don't watch out can take control of you life.

if u get a little jealous its cute but if u get to jealous then it undesirable. being jealous shows a girl that you do care just dont take it to far and sometimes they are trying to get u jealous

Depends how the jealousy manifests itself or how they act because of their jealousy. In my boyfriend i find it cute because it just shows how much he loves me, and I know he wouldn't be horrible to me, he just sulks a bit, but some people can be violent, that's not cute
