Sometimes one side will pull and the other side just stays in the same position. Sometimes they pull a little bit and then act like they are bunching up and won't pull back anymore. Help!!!

After hanging, pull the cords to center up the pulls, then hang the curtains.

The cords have the facility to lock them in place once they are positioned correctly. With the cords unlocked, pull the leading runners to the centre and when you are happy that they are properly centred, adjust any surplus and lock the cords, then when you draw them back, they will draw evenly.
