I prefer curtains in every room except the bathroom where I have fitted venetian blinds for a neat, clean, clinical look. Blinds cut out a lot of light and make rooms look office-ish and cold. Louvred shutters are really only suitable for seaside locations.

I like curtians. They come in so many more options than just blinds. They also can be sheer enough for privacy, but still let in light. I also do like blinds though. So far in our house we have curtians. A few rooms will be getting blinds though too.

Curtains. Because you can change them often and get a different look for a room.

Curtains. They're much more elegant for a home. :-)
