you wife needs a steady stream of birth control in pill form for her to be protected from pregnancy, although not completely. have you thought of using condoms, or pulling out as well?

If she takes a regular Birth control pill just after intercourse, that will not prevent preganncy. BC pills need to be taken everyday.

Pills are rather stupid in my opinion, and some of them can even induce an abortion. Why don't you simply practice some sensible timing and exercise a bit of self-control as a man?
