Is it just falling or falling out? If it's falling out I would definitely make a doc's appointment. If you have rapidly thinning hair, it's unexpected and in large quantities, it can be a sign of something more serious.
If it's just falling flat after you style it, then I suggest some root lifter or booster before you style...it's applied to hair at the root only, and will give you that extra body and shape you are looking for. Good luck! :)

There are alot of reasons hair falls out.
You should go get a CBC (complete blood count) it's a blood test, and would make sure you don't have anemia (that would really make your hair shed).
If all is well in your blood, do some yoga. It increases blood circulation to the head & drastically reduces hair fallout.
If that doesn't work, and you're having alot of stress (another reason hair falls out) try reducing stress. If that's impossible, make sure you're breathing in deeeeeeep breaths at least ONCE a minute, because it would decrease blood stress levels. (not to mention it also sheds a few calories)
You should also take multi-vitamins, if you aren't getting enough food in.
Don't forget to eat your green veggies && you should DEFINITLY use extra virgin olive oil on your hair 5 hours before you wash it. It strengthens your hair & softens it at the same time. (works for anyone)

Everyone goes thru a sort of shedding period & will notice excess hair coming out while washing or brushing your hair but new hair will grow back in. Vitamin & Herb supplements sometimes help, such as B-Complex, Flaxseed, Biotin, PABA & Evening Primrose Oil. Hormone change, fad dieting, too much junk food & lack of sodium in your diet can cause hair loss so if you're on a prescribed low salt diet, talk to your doctor. Certain foods aid in healthy hair growth, especially those with fish oil. Some people are just destined to lose a lot of hair due to genetics, usually skipping a generation so consider your grandfathers hair lines. Try not to stress out over it, stress causes hair loss too!
