fresh (if they really are fresh) other wise frozen (as they were frozen at the peak of freshness. Freezing does not harm or detract from the nutrients in food. That is done by cooking and spoilage

MYTH: Fresh vegetables are more nutritious than frozen or canned.

TRUTH: Most "fresh" vegetables are trucked great distances and stored for long periods. Modern freezing processes, however, are performed so quickly that there's little time for nutrient loss. Canned food isn't bad either. Half-ripe fruits ripen en route to market. So fully ripe fruits are canned--otherwise they'd go bad before arriving at the store.

Canned fruits are highly nutritious to start with and, once sealed, cans permit little deterioration, even after six months. That's not to say you should skip the produce section. Fresh, organic fruits and vegetables are still a healthy option.

Unless you are picking them fresh yourself and serving them frozen will be healtheir. It takes a while to get from farm to market so produce is normally picked well before ripe and never gets the chance to reach its full nutritional value. Frozen is picked fresh and frozen within a day. It starts off better than so called fresh because it is allowed to ripen naturally. Once you pick a vegetable it begins to decline in quality almost immediately.

Tinned (canned) vegetables have an excellent type of sodium extra, and are hence no longer as healty. Canned vegetables also flavor like crap. Frozen vegetables would or received't be fit than sparkling, reckoning on how in the previous the vegetables were picked, and how rapidly after choosing the frozen vegetables were frozen. as an example....a bag of peas, which went from container to freezer in below 24 hours will be more effective useful than sparkling peas, that were picked on Tuesday, delivered to the food market on Thursday, offered by way of you on Saturday, and eaten right here Tuesday.

Fresh. And if you are cooking them then, steam will keep most of the nutritional value.
