You can check with the City/State/Town/County property tax office as they will know. You can also check the deed and accompanying schematic that shows the plan of the area. Sorry, I forgotten the proper name of the schematic drawing.

All of the above will help but I would ask any elderly people in the area. I f they have lived locally all their lives, they may well remember. Also try books on architecture and different styles. Walk about the vicinity and see if there are any similar properties, some may even have a date stone.

Check with your county auditor's office for the tax information or with your county recorder's office to look at the deed. I believe either one of those offices will have the year your house was built.

Many counties have real estate tax databases online now (mine does). Take a look at the website for the county you live in. And then look for something called Real Estate Tax Assessments (or similar). You may be able to just enter your address and you will get all of the data currently available for your house (like year build, current assessed value, structural info, etc).

When I used to sell homeowners insurance, we were told to look under the toilet lid over the tank. Frequently, it will have a year there which is likely when the house was built.

The tax office should have a record of when they started charging property tax for a structure on your land.

Mostly good answers above, but check your electrical panel the date of installation, provided it's the original (likely fuses), is usually stamped on it (or written by the Electrical Contractor)
Hope this helps
