Hi, if when you are going to order some food and they are saying this to you i would note the name of the person or people who are saying it to you and then tell the manager. At the end of the day you are a paying customer and the manager wont like hearing one of the customers is upset. They shouldnt be saying this to you. I would do something about it soon, next time you get fast food, tell the manager and kick up a fuss. If the staff think they can get away with it they will continue to do it to anyone.

Ahaha I think that the fast food staff is saying, "Sorry about your wait." Wait and weight are homonyms, they sound alike but have two different meanings. They are just apologizing to you for them being so incredibly slow, as many fast food restaurants can be.
So when they say such a thing respond with, "It's okay today, but try to speed things up in the future" and then they will spit in your food. Don't eat at fast food, and if you do, please inspect it because you never know why they are taking so long.

Take your business elsewhere. Some people are just totally inconsiderate of other's feelings. Fast food servers are notorious for this, as most are not educated enough to get a meaningful job, and are mentally unable to recognize that it's not the outside, but the inside that really counts. Have a great life!

I think "Jackie" has a fair point. You could be misinterpreting what they are saying because you are possibly being self-concious and there is nothing wrong with this.
Just listen carefully next time, and if they are saying it as "weight", then you really should complain to the manager, because they are not allowed to do that.
I hope you find a solution to this! Good luck!

Fast foods pile on weight, so the staff who represent the companies to punters like yourself are supposed to do something to atone for this.
My advice? Eat someplace else. Try someplace where you'll get healthy food instead. Once your taste buds get used to food without additives and preservatives, you'll wonder why on earth you put that other poison into your system. Oh, and the fat will start to disappear ...

I can't think why they would say that, it's downright rude.
Come back fast and reply, "sorry about your manners".
If the remark was well meant but badly said, you will get an
apology.
Regardless of size, know your worth, we are all unique...

they are just looking our for you. you shouldn't take it offensivly. a true friend would tell you, for you, not for them. its not about beeing hurtful or bitchy, its the truth maybe? if your not careful you could be heading for some serious illnesses ie: obisity, heart failure, high blood pressure etc etc. im sorry if that sounded bitchy but i really didnt mean it like that, its not your fault, but you should do something about it...before its too late...
good luckk :D

Do you mean fast food workers who work behind the counter? If they say that to you, just tell the manager.
