Why is the so much talk about Islam?

i have seen soooooooooooo many questions about ISlam. most of them are rude and silly. but why if most people dis like the faith why always go on about it.

i know its on the news all the time. but so what the is other things what goes on in the world. so why don't you people who hate islam so much just leave it alone.

Currently it is the news that makes Islam such a hot topic but generally it is because to Westerners it is an intolerant, uncompromising religion with a large fanatical element that views murder and mass destruction as the will of their god as expressed in their holy book. Look at Britain and the question of religious tolerance and cultural integration. It always seems to be that Christians and other religions have to tolerate Islam and compromise their practices to accommodate or not offend yet Muslims do not. Try going to a mosque without a head covering, but would a muslim remove his turban to go to church? These are small points but symbolise the gulf between Islam and the West.

Why would anyone not talk about Islam, it is in the news daily for the last 5 years..

Just copied that off of the news, with news like that why would people NOT be talking about Islam??

I work for the Home Office, and we see all types of people coming into the country. "What can we do about it"? This down to the government. "I don't know if this answers your question"? I suppose the best answer i can come up with is. "Because we are not used to all these faiths sprouting out over the country, and Islam is one of the biggest" I agree with you, what can we do about it. "Nothing" I to don't understand why people carry on about it.

Ridigid and brain dead ie obeying withotu question or reasoning...


ie all bad values and more so then other relgions.


People look at things like sharia law and stoning for dating etc.

Well why don't islamic states leave all the gays and lesbians and nude and porn models alone, leave people with mates of the opposite sex alone, and leave those who are dating amd making out outside an arranged marriage alone, leave girls alone to choose who they have sex with, And bring an end to family honour killings etc?

It is amazing really if you think about it. Everyday they get on this site and make rude comments first because they really don't know islam, second there is a western bias against Islam. The irony is that they have communication with Muslims everyday and can ask legitimate questions if they wanted, but they just hate islam

The current wave of interst or dislike of Islam is fueled primarily by the "War on Terror". It seems that the same war is also a war on certain Islamic groups. It is most unfortunate, but this has also fueled a lot of anger and prejudice towards all Islamic people.
What most people dislike are certain people and groups of people that just happen to belong to Islamic Fundamentalist groups.

Gee,does September 11,2001 ring any bells??? If those were christians instead of muslims then all the talk would be about christians.The fanatical terrorrists in our world today commit murder in the name of Allah.They are the biggest threat to world peace and stability.I realize that they are a small minority among an otherwise peaceful religion but that is why there is so much talk about Islam.I do not dislike Islam.What I dislike are fanatics who kill and push their own personal agendas in the name of God,regardless of their religion.

Islam has divided the mankind into believers and non-believers (Kafirs) and urged the believers (Muslims) to get the non-believers converted to the faith of Muhammad and if they do not succumb, get them killed. you seem to be disconnected from the national and world events which have been ongoing since 1979, when Islam declared war on the west, and intensified on 9-11.

We have had bombings on embassies around the world, suicide bombings in Israel and other places, various bombings of subways and other public places in Europe, one US ship bombed in the Mediteranean, riots in many countries in Europe, especially France and Spain, execution of american journalists and missionaries, persecution of Chrstians and Jews, and any other non-muslims, dedication of islam to world rule, the growth of islam in the USA, the recent threat of radical Islamist Iran to use nuclear weapons against Israel, the USA and the rest of Europe, hundreds of terrorists cells in america, the threat of US takeover by islamists, the recent election of a muslim into political office......people want to know what is going on.......! and they have lots of feelings about it....islam is a dangerous religion and you need to learn why....it is not a religion of peace...this is a persuation tactic that is used to gain your confidence so you will give into it....and allow it to take over.
