I went to a chat site by the name of inluvwithjesus or something and I would ask insightful questions about Jesus and God(Deep ones).
I ALWAYS get the response of "If you are in love with Jesus you should know that by now"
Are they wrong?

sounds to me like they didnt know the answers to give you sweetheart and that is a cop out for them

Live life the best you can, and if it is not good enough for the church; tell them to go to hell for preaching the wrong message.
That is my perspective on the idea of others preaching empty phrases, to blind followers. People repeat what they are told in church without learning for themselves. So, what do they really know. They know the book, but not reason why the book exist in the first place.
First off I have to say I am a little prejudice about the church. I say that if you wish to learn about god, read and make your own iterpretations until someone helps you understand more. The bible has been taken over by diffferent segments of the church each with its own views and idea's of what it means to be holy. I believe that your relationship with god is between him and you. So screw everyone else and their arrogant ideas of being religious. Just try and be a good person.

How can the blind lead the blind--least they both fall into the ditch. I understand what you are saying tho, like" this" website--sometimes I come here to maybe read and get some kind of understanding to a situation that I might be going thru too and instead I get discouraged because of all the nasty remarks or insensitiveness of some of the people who have to insist on "their way is the only way" attitude. Believe with your heart and not your mind and be true to yourself and this is what is truth in Jesus. God bless.

How can you be in love with someone who died over two millenia ago? It's impossible.
Perhaps you think you are in love with the way Jesus persued his life and his teachings of the way we should live our lives?
Don't worry about this, just live your life to the best of your ability and a way in which makes you happy so that you can enjoy god's gift?
P.s I am not religious but this is what I think christian's believe in?

The word " LOVE " in Greek has several meanings.
EROS----romantic love
PHILEO---friendship love
AGAPE----obedient and respectful love
Yes we are to LOVE GOD AND JESUS.
If you LOVE me you will keep my commandments.
I have a Greek / English KJV of the Holy Bible and it helps a lot when these kind of questions come up.
I LOVE you can mean so many things.

That sounds like pure manipulation...God doesn't want automatons, even those driven by "love." He wants us to love Him with our minds and hearts, even if we disagree at times.

Ha ha ha....because they can't look the answers up quick enough in their liitle bibles. They CAN'T answer you, they have no minds of their own w/o that fictional storybook of theirs.
