A free chat room that demands your real name and if you are banned and want back in, they want a signed document from your counselor(Most cases nothing is wrong with you and you don't need a counselor) or psyciatrist in order for you to come back in. This is a Christian chatroom.

Is this wrong?

If you're under 13 of age and living in the United States, I believe this is actually illegal.

Hope this helps,

Never Ever give out Real Personal INformation! Did you receive documentation about each of the people in that room? How about the person that demanded it from you? Keep in mind there are a lot of people who get "religion" while being in prison for assorted crimes. How do you know that they aren't part of the chat room? Stay away from that room completely and look for association within your own church. There must be gatherings, group bible studies etc..., sign up at your local church.
Never give specific personal info out on the internet chat rooms.

While i don't agree with what they're doing, I believe that they are within their rights to do it. My understanding is that a chat room constitutes a private area and in a private area it's pretty much their rules as long as they do not specifically violate local law.
