I have a red rump grass parakeet and im going to be putting him in a different cage but i want more birds so what sort of other birds can i put with him? with out them fighting

Those answers were no help. hahaha Red rumps are rarely tamed but if your bird is a tame pet, keep it by itself in the cage or else you will have your bird get mean toward you and bond with the other bird. Now if you do feel you have to have another bird in the same cage it has to be another red rump of the opposite sex.

Do not mix it with different types of birds. The red rumps often get aggressive with other birds.

If you want other birds, why not just have them in different cages?
