does straightning shampoo and conditonar help keep hair straight?

does any straightning shampoo and conditonar help to keep hair straight if you use straighting irons as well and straighting balm.or would that make my hair to straihgt cause i dont wont it realy straight and flat

I use trevor sorbi straightening shampoo &cond and then I use loreal straightening serum with my ghd's nd that works wonders. My hair is naturally curly and this combination makes it straight but with a slight wave to it and looks excellent. But be warned it can take upto an hour to do if your hair is as long as mine!!
