I used to put a little bit of gel or mousse in my hair while it was wet, and then french-braided it on both sides of my head (the french-braid makes sure the waves go higher - instead of starting at your ears). Sleep with the braids, and when you wake up the next morning & take them out, your hair will be wavy. A little more product (hairspray, maybe) might make it last longer.

Sleep with your hair in braids, big ones, small ones, the smaller the braids you make the wavier your hair will be the next day. Then just run a light mousse or something to add texture to your hair once you let the braids out. It's easier on your hair than heat stylers. Good luck!

Before you go to bed, put your hair in a tight braid. Do not take it off over the course of the night, even if it's uncomfortable (pain is beauty!). When you wake up in the moring, undo the braid. Tada! Waves that last throughout the day. Good luck!!

The easiest way is to find a crimping iron (sort of like a flat iron but the plates are in a wave)
There are several out there that are inexpensive but to find the best ones try sephora or sally beauty.

Have someone braid it for you when it's wet and when it dries it will be wavy. My sister used to do that to her hair.
Or you can get a perm.
