religion "per se" is of very little importance.
what is important is YOUR personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

man made. is there an echo in hear? :-)
a bunch of religions think that their religion is god made, but, a lot of them also claim that they are the only way.....they can't all be right! I think it's more reasonable to assume that they are all wrong.

True religion is made by men inspired by the Word of God, according to time and circumstance...but the problem is, most religions are outmoded and not current to the tempo of the times. We need religion as taught by the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Sri Krsna, the adi-purusa. All other religion is concoction of the mind by fools and rascals.

I'm a bit of an optimist, and thus I say it's man made; otherwise, it would have to mean that a god (or gods) made hundreds of mutually incompatable religions, many of which say if you don't choose them, you're ****** for all eternity.

All religion is man made. It is human effort, to try and please a Holy God. Jesus Himself, opposed religion. Jesus taught us that we cannot "Earn" our way into heaven through sacraments or works of any kind. Trying to be "Good" to earn our salvation is offensive to God. God simply tells us to believe in the One whom He sent. Believe in Christ Jesus and follow Him, this is pleasing to God. And when you pray, talk to Jesus like you would a friend. Don't just repeat the same words over and over every day. Tell Jesus that you are sorry for rejecting him and that you will keep him number one in your heart for the rest of your days.

Religion is man made and therefore imperfect. Faith is of God and perfect and being so is acceptable to Him as righteousness....Jim

The word religon just means to perform something in a
ritualistic manner. Daily. All religion is based on
spiritual truths. But go their own way away according to the wisdoms, (interpretations), of men!
