I'm wondering how many of you out there have used education as a legit reason for not working? A good friend of mine stretched his education out by getting several unrelated college degrees. He admitted to me that it beat working for a living....In fact often he was only part time, but told his parents (who were "old school" European) that he was in full time studies just to keep them and other relatives off his back. What do you think? Is school a good and respectable alternative to the drudgery of the work-a-day world

When you're young you gotta have some fun. Life is too short to spend it all getting beaten by a boss. At least he learned some things along the way- so it's not a total loss! His poor parents, paying for all those years of school.....LOL

Sounds like your friend is afraid of growing up? Being a bum isn’t the best way to go through life.

How does he pay for college? His bills? Where does he get his money from?
