i met a guy some years back and later i started having this feeling that were meant for each other, to be honest i have not slept with him, but i discovered that he has a gal somewhere but still sends me sweet texts etc, the lady sent me a mail one day telling me that the guy is hers that i shld keep off, we are thousands of miles apart but still communicate though i dont trust him anymore as for the lady, he said i should ignore her, that she is desperate but in reality he gave her his email password to check something for him that's where she found out about me? should i continue with him?

It's too bad this man doesn't live closer to you. If he did I would say go with your feelings but it's hard to have a very long distance relationship that far away. My man lives far enough from me - 70 miles and it's hard to see one another. I also have had a problem with an ex-girlfriend of his e mailing me and starting a lot of problems. I only e mailed her back a couple of times and have stopped. She though still continues to bother him but is slightly disppearing little by little. WIth her in the picture though and he so far away that also makes it very very hard if you were to get together and to carry on a relationship.

Follow what you want. Don't ever let anyone tell you you can't do anything you want to. But at the same time, don't put yourself in a position to be greatly hurt. It's an amazing feeling, love. Can fill you with happiness or make you miserable.

You mention some troubling things in this post. Either he is with her or he isn't. She says he is with her and he says she is not. I would not approach a relationship with him until he gets his personal affairs in order. What could she have possibly be looking for in his email. She isn't his wife right.
You've stated how you've felt in this relationship with him. But what has he shown you to let you know that this relationship is serious.

if you really love him, trust isn't an issue.
look, if you're insecure you better tell him to get serious. dating is fun and all that but its a step to a lifetime together. if he laughs off and/or acts uncomfortable then, the guy's hiding something. don't accuse of, just ask gently. i wish you well.

i know the lady i met (long distance online ) is the lady for me ---- in this case it is difficult to know about this other lady --- the best thing is trust him work out any problems and see what happens
