I've heard alot about these 'chi' flat irons, which are a little expensive. Is it worth the money compared to the traditional flat irons?

yes, it is worth the money it work so will. i could never get my hair to lye flat when i use my $10 flat iron.I think that you could get a cheaper one at ebay or other marked down place like that. I think that my was only 100 or so or you can wait for your birthday or any other gift giving holidays and ask for it.
