God is never mad at us in the sense of our sins, he knows that we naturally hurt ourselves and others. A good question is on the day you are with him will he ask you if you accepted the gift he gave us in his son and that is he took away our sins for us. As a Christian it is hard for me to grasp this because there is nothing I can do to add to what Jesus did for me, I also cant take it away weather I want his gift or not he has given it, however I do have to tell him in my heart of hearts I have accepted this in order to be forgiven. What Jesus did for me he did for you as well and that means he took our sins past present and future and died for them, all we have to do is take that gift and we have been forgiven. So God wants us to take comfort in that the price was paid by Jesus. His arms are open for all with out anger through Jesus. If you like read John 8 you might take comfort in this Jesus did not cast a stone at the woman but told her he did not condemn her. He has nothing but love for us all no matter what :) Feel free to email me if you like I love talking about God and the bible with people.

I don't think so. I think that perhaps some disappointment would be there; but anger? You say you WERE a self mutilator. Well it seems to me a repentance has been worked out here. If you believe in the Holy Father then renew your relationship, admit your sin, recant what your have done to yourself. It is really that simple darlin. Ask for forgiveness and it is given. It always is. You are never denied God's love, which means if your heart is in the right place and you ask for His forgiveness then it is given.
Here's the wonderful thing about that. A lot of people do not understand it, but here it is. Once you ask for forgiveness on a particular wrong then it is given, and forgotten by God. You never have to ask again. If you continue to repeat your sin for forgiveness, He won't know what you are talking about so to speak. Because you already asked once and it is not remembered.
By the way...you don't have to be extremely religious, you have to be in a constant and loving relationship with God every day of your life. This way He has the opportunity to teach you how to live your life properly. Come your day of judgement He will know you by your love and faith in Him while you are here now.
God's blessings to you.

God loves everyone, even those that do not love him. His anger is righteous anger, which is something that is hard for humans to understand. I am glad to read that you are not overly religious because religion never saved anyone. Christianity is not about religion, but about a personal relationship with God. You believe that Jesus died for your sins; therefore, God has forgiven you for your sins. We must go to Christ everyday and renew our relationship with him because it is beyond our ability to stay sin free. If there is anything that you feel that you need to confess to Christ and ask his forgive for, then please do so. He is just to forgive those who love him. There is no sin that Christ will not forgive except blaspheming the Holy Spirit, which is denying the person and work and witness of the Holy Spirit with reference to Jesus Christ. Ask and ye shall receive. Being saved, that is born again is about faith and trust in Jesus to fulfill all the promises of God. Jesus is Lord and God. Jesus loves you.

No. We are all here to learn. Hopefully you learned to love yourself.

That is all that is necessary. This is what God put us here to do. How likely is it that he would be angry for us for following his plan for us.

Many over zealous religious types have God keeping track of every little misjudgment we make. God is not concerned with how we get there, just where we end up.

Love and blessings Don

You didn't say whether you have actually trusted Jesus as your own personal savior. That's the first thing to be sure you have done. John chapter 3.

Next, God is not "mad" at you, but He is disappointed. But God is disappointed with each one of us for our sins. That's okay, because Jesus came to fix that! Ask God to forgive you for Jesus's sake, and He will. "For if we confessour sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9.

God bless!

No. God won't be mad at you. Just ask him for forgiveness. And vow to never harm your boby again. God is a forgiving God and as long as you ask him he will forgive you. I recommend visiting a church nearby. God bless you!

you said "WAS" so I assume you no longer do that to your self? God can fill a void that was left from our parents not doing what needed done--- and I pray He healed you- He also forgives, but not if you continue to sin-- and your body is His temple- so keep it clean so He can fill you with His wisdom and love-----and when we die we do answer to Him-- will He know you? do you know Him?
