When some softwares are installed and removed,it leaves the date on which it has been installed. So even though I reinstall it a message appears saying the number of days I've been using that software.Do you know where the date is stored? How do I change it(or delete it)?

This type of information is generally stored in the registry. You can clean the registry using the freeware program: RegSeeker

Can be downloaded from a number of sites.

Sometimes, this information is stored in hidden files in the Documents and Settings area of your drive. Look in the hidden folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data

... see if there's a folder with the name of the offending software. If so, delete the folder. Then do the same for all users on the system: Owner, Administrator, etc.

The info is (usually) stored in Windows Registry.
