One nickname for the vagina is the "muff". A muff *used to be* a fuzzy cute little fanny pack thing you slid your hands into to keep them warm - sometimes you see NFL quarterbacks using a non-fuzzy modified muff during cold games.
Since when a girl goes through puberty and grows hair between her legs, people use "muff" as slang for the female vagina since it is fuzzy and you slip a penis into it to 'keep it warm'.
"Muff diving" is then slang for performing oral sex on a female.
