I am a little over 5'8" and I have dated men shorter than me. I didn't care as long as they were respectful to me just like men who are taller than me. I preferred men taller than me, but I wasn't going to rule shorter men out because they were shorter. They have a lot to offer too. I had one guy who was 5'5" who broke my heart. Lied and cheated on me after telling me we were exclusively dating. My gut started telling me otherwise. It doesn't matter how tall you are, it matters what is inside that counts.

From a personal point I am 5' 7" my wife is 5' 10" so yes some women do like shorter men!!!!!

I have a friend who's 5' 8", and she would much rather date a guy taller than she is. It's pretty hard for her to find one in her grade, though.

I'm 5'10 and I personally like to date guys that are taller than me. I have dated guys who were shorter though, that was fine too.
