A very odd term to use for food but i heard in Australia people call food tucker, so i'm just a little confused.

Its a common English breakfast. Bangers are small sausages and mash is fried chopped/ mashed potatoes.

Usually bangers refer to the rather large, fat sausages. Mash is just mashed potato.

'Bangers' are a spicy sausage. This dish gets it's name from the possibility that,eating this spicy sausage will give you flatulence, thus the name 'bangers', (BANG!!!).

Mash refers to masked potatoes.
