It's really hard for me to believe that you're asking this question...

But to answer it, YES, female dogs have periods. It's called "estrus", or commonly called being "in heat". This period on a dog can last up to two or three months or be as short as a couple of days. Just depends on the dog.

Unless you have a female dog for breeding purposes... I would suggest spaying your pet for the health and well-being of the animal and for your sanity in the future.

Dogs don't really have their periods like humans; they go into a heat and most have a bloody show during that time. This is when they breed and are fertile.

Please spay and neuter your pets unless you are a professional breeder and fully understand animal biology/husbandry. Thanks!!

Yea.
I had an embarresing moment when I was holding my mom's friends dog (who was in heat ) and she had her period on me!!!!
I was soooo embarrased!!!!!!! I had to where this new shirt that ad little ponies and kittins on the edges and it was way to small for me!

ESTRUS is the ABSOLUTE ***OPPOSITE*** of human "periods"!!!

This is BASIC biology folks...where were YOU when the class was on???
