I've only known her a few days. I tried to French kiss her last night but she slapped my face.

Being a fully fledged girlfriend carries with it the duty/obligation to French-kiss a boyfriend. It is expected - for sure!
If she won't french kiss you it is possible that you are not boyfriend-girlfriend yet - just in that transitionary period in-between first and second dates.
I think you jumped the gun a bit on the first date.

start with small kisses and friendly pecks for a while and after your 3rd or 4th date you can try again or maby by then she would let you know shes ready. just watch out 4 signs and work on your kissing skills maybe its the way you kiss and don't feel embarrassed practising because the better you kiss the more she will want

I'd go for the sweet, non invasive kiss first, and slowly build toward that. If she shows any signs of not wanting to, then back off. Most importantly, wait til she's comfortable.

poor man! Try again after you have bought her abig bunch of flowers and a slap up dinner, that normally works with us women. Apologize, even if you dont mean it. Good luck.

Maybe she wasn't ready or just may not have been Frenched before. She may not want you to think she's easy and that you may want more then that. You need to give her space. Maybe you were to forceful.
