Why not try the spray that horse owners use to repel flies?

You can purchase online or at a tack shop.

I buy a spray called Bronco Equine Fly Spray at a farm supply store. It is manufactured for horses but is also labeled for use on dogs. I spray it over the dogs' bodies, and spray some onto my hands to wipe onto their faces. It works pretty well. I have to reapply maybe about once a week.

Try spraying them w/Apple Cider Vinegar from the healthfood store, they smell like a salad for awhile, but it worked 4 me and it makes their coat so silky and shiny TOO!

Just put a little OFF insect repellant on them. If this doesn't work your vet has some spray that will definately work.
