What does her doctor say about all this? I can't believe a child can just stop eating, having trouble breathing, and the doctor does nothing. And if you have not taken her to a doctor because you can't afford one, then go down to the county hospital or whatever and demand that someone help you with her. This could be fatal if you do not do anything! Children have died from what they call "failure to thrive," but let's give the poor thing a chance!

I think you had better head to the doctors. If she is not drinking she will get dehydrated & she'll end up being hospitalized. At her age getting nourishment from liquids is much more important than eating solids.
The doctor should be able to give you something to help clear up her nasal congestion since you are probably right in that she can't suck because she can't breathe. Give her Cheerios (there's another cereal type cookie for kids that I can't rememer the name of) to munch on in the meantime. You could also peel an apple or pear & give it to her whole. It's messy but she can scrape off bits of the fruit with her front teeth & get the benefit of some vitamin C & the juice.
She will get her appetite back when she's feeling better.

You just have to wait until she is feeling better. Also take her off of breast feeding and get her on whole milk. Find out what foods that are good for her that she likes and give her plenty of it.
