I think so! We love God but we have never met him. We love the image and what we were told of him. It's the same with an on line relationship- we love the image. We don't necessarily have to see something physically to be in love. Love is a spiritual thing. When we fall in love, our emotions are stimulated. An on line relationship is entirely emotional.

i feel this question is hard to give a right or wrong answer to based on the fact that. each person is different and "love" tends to mean different things to different people. But I would say it is possible to fall in love with someones "personality" because over the net and phone that's all you can really get from someone.

Yes. Falling in love with a pen pal, somebody you get acquainted with via internet. Even by reading a book, you can fall in love with the character created by the writer. Being able to fall in love means you are still a human being. CONGRATS!

Not usually a lasting love, more like emphatuation. You have to know someone really well to be in true love but I suppose 1 in a 1000 odds it could happen. Didn't work for me.

Yes my friends, all the way. It has happend for two friends I'v known. She lived in the bronx NY and met her lover in Canada. After two years they finally met and well they have been married for 3 years so far and going strong. The other friend lived in Florida, he met his lover in Texas. It worked out pretty damn good, they have a 2 year old son and living in Florida right now. As for myself I"m dead in love with a girl from Ohio and I"m in New York. I feel its not right to limit yourself. Why would you say
"Will since I'm in New York, my lover must also be in New York? Their are so many different people in this world, you don't need sex, or touching someone to fall in love with them. Yes the advantages of seeing each other eye to eye is outstanding but still if thats the case why is 49% of American couples married, or in a relationship for over a year calling it quits? I know I can say for sure that probably out of that 100% only maybe 2% is long distance yet the rest is all face to face. That alot of people have long distance cause they think too much and they do not keep a good communication between each other. Long distance helps You fall in love with what matters the most, and thats the personality. Now not all face to face is bad, shoot no way. It would be great to find your soul mate and that person is right infront of your eyes, but thats not always the case.
We always look for the easy way out, the easy relationship, oh she lives couples blocks from me, oh he lives 20 minutes. Great thats wonderful but I kinda say you should not base your feelings on distance. You find out little details because you spend so much more time talking rather than messing up the bed sheets. Don't get me wrong sex and touching is wonderful, its expression of passion for each other.
Then again you have to say what does that mean to me if the sex is great and so on but yet I can't stand this persons views on life, or the world. I'm telling you it gives you a chance to understand someone and if you can pull it off, if you can wait years to see each other, fight all that comes in your way, be strong and faithfull, then you better believe this; thats a relationship that is powerful and meant to me. I'm in one rigth now, 7 years boy oh boy it feels great, real tough, but I don't care. Its not the fact that you won that final fight and won the Belt, but its your Journey you had to take to win that really matters cause thats what will hold the relationship together. Its love people, we will never understand it, but believe in it and it will believe in you.

PS: I LOVE WRITING AND I'M SORRY I DON'T HAVE TIME TO DO SPELL CHECK OR ANYTHING...HOPE YOU ALL UNDERSTAND..THANK YOU BYE..

yes I would think so because you're connecting more emotionally than physically ... typically if you speak "honestly" every day you've discussed your physical attributes, your likes and dislikes, thoughts ideas and so on you might have even exchanged pictures ... now it's just getting together to see each other.

And if you stop talking ... it even brings on the feelings like you've broken up ... still a heartache to be had and missing the connection you shared ... strange huh!!!

i think you can love someone without seeing them because to me you love who the person is on the inside but i dont think that its real online you have to meet someone to find who they really are.. ppl online lie they are not true and you cant really get someone if you cant experience time with them
