I've heard you can wash your hair with Listerine? Do you apply anything else to the scalp to balance it?

I don't know about washing with Listerine--seems like it *would* kill any creepy crawlies and strip the oil (and everything else) right out (including your scalp?), but I'm thinkin not much of a conditioner. I do know that a great natural conditioner is Mayonnaise. All that being said, though, just use VO5 shampoos and conditioners. They're cheaper than Listerine (and smell better too).

I am not how you could get a thougrah wash with something as watery-like as listerine even if you mixed it with something foamy my best advise is to get a pepermint smelling shampoo instead.
