Why o why is there so many dumb blonde jokes?I was just reading a question on here and it had something to do with spelling and i think the first answer said something about the person must be blonde or something like that, what is up with that???????

Witnessing a stereotype is an unsettling thing, especially when you fall into the group that's being referred to. Unfortuneately, once a stereotype is established it's there for a long long time. We can't just change the people that it comes from as it would consume our lives and health. All we can really do is hope for it to pass within our lifetime.

Because blondes have traditionally been thought of as "dumb blondes" for many, many decades. When a social stigma is engrained that deeply into people's thought processes, you won't get rid of it.

I know a lot of smart blond-haired woman, and I know a lot of stupid brunettes and red-heads. Just let those blonde remarks roll right off of you and ignore them.

well the theory goes, that if your blonde you must be very attractive and people that are normall attractive tend to be thick....but then again its also associated with being cheap looking too.for eg....pamela anderson is blonde, does she look like she knows her alphabet?
and then take someone like cameron diaz when she was blone she looked ditzy, now shes darker she look intellectual
