Stronzo. Richard Dawkins based his views on questions and statements made by students and faculty memebers of Liberty. His suggestion comes from one question where he was asked about some fossils on display there that were labeled as only being a few thousand years old. ANY supposed university that teaches such lies and deciet is only proving that it isn't really inteseted in educated, but only in brainwashing.

Gwhiz. There isn't a hell, and that comment made no attempt to answer the question.

I haven't read Darkin's book (but will) and am a fundamentalist Christian. That being said: I'd have to say, "No, it isn't a "university" because it probably neglects a lot of teaching/learning that disagrees with our Christian beliefs. The definition of university would be an institution that is well rounded and all encompassing to broaden the minds of its students who then made a decision. There is nothing wrong with Liberty, but perhaps another name would be perferred?

He is absolutely correct.
Any "educational institution" that teaches that an invisible cloud guy controls all of existence, is not interested opening the student bodies intellect. It is interested in brain washing and "converting non believers".
Jerry Falwell is nothing more than a snake oil salesman.

He said that if Liberty University's museum is telling people that its dinosaur fossils are only 3,000 years old, then those enrolled at Liberty should leave and enrol in a proper university. It was a little academic dig and it got a lot of laughs. I have no problem with it.

The world does not know God, nor can it. Any institution that shuts out Gods Word is narrow minded and shallow. They are correct in stating that the fossils are only a few thousand years old. Science has finally recanted their high belief in the accuracy carbon dating.Proving once again that Gods Word is perfect and Holy.

It describes itself as a fundamentalist learning institution which makes me wonder. Education is about objective facts not religious agendas.

This gentleman (I believe you're talking about Richard Dawkins) has, from the very beginning, made claim after claim without supporting documentation, glibly accusing Christians and other theists of believing in God "against all evidence, even in the teeth of evidence."
Given this track record, I would like to know how long he spent at Liberty University, with whom of the faculty and/or student body he spoke, and upon what grounds (textbooks currently used, alumni/faculty writings/teachings, etc.) he bases his opinion. When listening to him and reading his body of work, one needs to be aware of possible logical fallacies and anti-theist presuppositions he will bring to the table.
PS I am a Christian, and (after watching the clip), the fossil in question was given as hearsay. Prof. Dawkins gave an answer that agreed with the questioner's presupposition, but didn't offer to investigate the claims made by the questioner. More blanket statements about ALL Christians and Christian institutions without documentation or reference...eh, I'm used to it by now.
