Keep an eye on her the BEST you can, and get her to the vet to be spayed AS SOON as possible. You know it needs done, and you have some time, so start saving your money now- un wanted litters are just that, and most will face a sad short life- you are ding right by being concerned- but take the next step....
No , there is no pill. Not in the US anyways...

I don't know why your vet is not recemmending spaying before the first season.
Modern thought is that spaying before the first season reduces and in some cases completely protects female dogs from mammary cancers and other problems in later life. No chance of horrid things like phantopm pregnancies, pyometria etc etc either.
Have you thought about getting a second opinion?

Yes there is both here in the UK and in the US! it is an injection I believe and can be given up to 3 days after mating occurs, it will prolong the bitches season though so you will have to be watchful! Your best bet is to put your b1tch into kennels until the season is over.

There is not a morning after pill and using one would be a little cruel don't yu think. Your dog is doing what she is driven to do by her natural instincts. In order to protect from pregnancy, it is the dog's owner who must be responsible enough to either spay the pet or keep the pet away from other dogs who are not neutered. Remember, the dog and her care are your responsibility, and asking for a morning after pill sounds like you are not taking her care serious enough.

to be honest i wouldnt think so , if anything they'd have to do an abortion percedure if you didnt want her to have puppies, or have her neutered, but if you allow her to have puppies you can sell them , to raise the money to have her neutered because it does cost.if thats the direction you want to go .
but i dont think theres a morning after pill for dogs. you'd have to look on a vets webpage and ask .

No, there is no "emergency contraceptive" so to speak for dogs. If you aren't a breeder and don't plan on her ever having a litter, it might be best if you have her desexed.
