In the chinese culture, normally, people make small talk in the morning, when they first met each other,
their greeting may be like this:

Have you eaten? Jia (eat) Pa (full) Beoy (not).
You are early. Gao (good) cha (early)
How are you, Ho (good) bo (not).

Wake up, Ki (wake or stand) lai (come).

Call, kyao.
