What is with peoples obsession to create pdf files in the first place? They are large and cumbersome, they take forever to upload and download due to the fact that they are image files! Originally, the only reason for pdf files was to make it easy to copy and reproduce a document without having to type it! For instance take your basic single page text file, about a kilobyte in size, now you are going to convert it to pdf, the file size will now be in the neighborhood of 4 megs! In answer to your question, it sounds like you are going to take a file, convert it into a picture format, convert that into a pdf file which is another image file, and then try to make it editable! Aint happening unless you and or the people you are sending it to have the full version of adobe! Image files arent easily edited without image editing software! Send the dam original file and be done with it!

>> i am scanning some pages
when you're scanning pages, they are imported as pictures into the PDF document which, in this case, Adobe Acrobat won't be able to do any editing with them.
What you really need is an image editor, like Adobe Photoshop, for example, to "edit" the scanned pages first then you can insert them, modified, into your PDF page.

To edit PDF files, sImply purchase Adobe Acrobat Professional.
However, it sounds like you are confused. More likely is that you don't want a PDF editor - you want a graphics editor.
Try Paint.Net or GIMP.

Hello there,
Yes you can. You must purchase some PDF editor. The most common is Adobe but there are a bunch out there for MUCH cheaper
http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/editor/price_support.htm

You may want to look at www.sourceforge.net for free ones.

Okay, you scaned it into pdf, which, to me means that you have a pretty expensive copier, like a Canon. Canon makes their eCopy desktop product, which comes with all copiers, and allows you to manipulate PDF documents for free. Have your IT guy check it out.

aside from changing a pair letters on a line of text fabric, you particularly won't be able to edit a pdf document. you are able to desire to locate the close by document (the document this is in the format it replaced into created in) to alter it. i comprehend it stinks. each and every so often i'm able to open one website data employing illustrator just to get the text fabric and/or photos. Then I replica and paste them into indesign. even nevertheless it does not consistently paintings. good success
