Neither. The science teacher believes what he/she is teaching her pupils. The Priest believes what he preaches. Neither is dumb, neither is lying to you.
You have to decide for yourself what you believe, and feel comfortable with.
You know, you can believe both. I do. I'm a Christian and I believe or intelligently consider many theories about life. I'm a Christian, I believe in God and Jesus, I also believe in Karma, I also hold to some Budhists philosophies, I consider the theory of Evolution as credible and a serious possibility, I also respect other religions and cultures.
Don't be confused, take on board the teachings of your Priest, and the lessons you learn in Science, you can intertwine both and come up with a cohesive and comforting belief structure.

Well, the science teacher is probably very learned in respects to evolution and the theory thereof. But it is only a theory, his belief is neither dumb or a lie. The priest is learned in the accounts of creation and all studies dealing with God and the making of all things, so he is neither dumb or a liar either, this is simply his belief. Both are probably very smart in their own fields however you will not find many preists and scientists who will agree on either one of these opinions as they are strictly theories. You must decide for yourself which theory makes more sense to you as an individual and let that be what guides you.

Western theory at present is contained in the middle of a raging conflict between faith and technological information. it really is fairly a lot no longer achieveable for a western philosopher at present to settle for the very shown reality that there is a gathering floor between faith and technological information. The Bible, in which the Christians believe, states that the tree from which the Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) become forbidden to devour become the tree of understanding. hence, after he ate from it, he received particular understanding that he had no longer had in the previous. subsequently, Europe spent 2 centuries arguing no matter if to settle for medical understanding coming from Muslims. The Church governed that the pursuit of such medical understanding become the reason for the unique sin. The bishops drew their info from the former testomony, the position it really is reported that once Adam ate of the tree and received some understanding, Allah become displeased with him and denied him mercy. medical understanding become for this reason rejected completely by way of the Church as a taboo. ultimately, even as the loose thinkers and scientists of the West were waiting to conquer the flexibility of the Church, they took revenge by way of going contained in the option direction and suppressing any ability of the religion. They went to all achieveable extremes as a fashion to conquer the flexibility of the Church and cut back its impression right into a narrow and a constrained nook

an uneasy tension exists betwwn these views. are you feeling it? Maybe you're wondering which viewpoint is the right viewpoint.
according to the bible humans andimals and everthing ilse in the universe were created by god. the idea that we simply materialized out of nothing is a logical and scientific impossiblity. check this out. the first low of thermodynamics tells us that matter can neither be created nor destroyed by natural causes are invaolved, how did nothing turn ito something? also, how did that something develop itelligence, a definite personality, morality, and spirituality? by chance? Impossible so what does this all add up to>? tree words: GOD DID IT

Science reinforces the basic existence of God. Faith in God can be as scientific as the Theory of Evolution. Neither concept is totally known or understood.
Jesus Christ is the source of ALL priesthoods: Me, you, and all other human persons are one common priesthood. Each of us, in our daily professions, actions, and beliefs are symbols of Jesus Christ. Should you listen to other humans? Yes, of course and this is in unity with scientist and the ordained priesthood as well.
A priest in the ministerial position acts in the person of Jesus Christ to confer His Grace through the Sacraments Jesus Himself established for ALL Humanity.
Do not limit your understanding of the world within stereotypes and bigotry. That would be the dumbest and most dishonest actions of all.
God Bless.

No one is lying. No one is dumber.
True science and true religion agree. If science and religion appear to disagree it is either because science has yet to discover a particular hidden mystery or religionists are clinging to superstitious dogma and/or traditions.
The Source of all knowledge comes from one Point, therefore true science and true religion agree.

The teacher has 1000's of books supporting what he says. There is tons of scientific evidence supporting what he says. The Priest has 1 book that was written by performers in ancient Rome.

It's easy. Just ask which one can support proof for their ideas. If you are just given evidence based on one book, then it's a lie, if you are given evidence based on experimental data and observation, then it's the truth. I'll give you a hint though. Their is NO evidence to support the existence of a god.

and remember Darwin was just a man who hated god
for modern day science, it not a matter of proof....because there is none....it is all theory...I am a scientist... i am have been listenig to this garbage for 30 years and i have seen nothing convincing...they have had this unfounded theory for so long they now treat it as fact....illogical.

What the science teacher teaches does not require "faith". What the priest teaches does. You decide.
