The only kind is the ones that would be the shampoo in . No ammonia . That is what causes the burning and itching . They do have brands out there that are sensitive the scalp , but those are the professional brands used by licensed beauticians . Really , it's not the color but the volume of peroxide that gives you the itch and burn . When you get your hair colored at a salon , make sure you go in 24 hours before your appointment and get an allergy/ sensitivity test from the stylist . If she says you don't need one run don't walk to the next stylist , manager or owner and demand one . In the state of Pennsylvania it is required by law that any chemical services performed on anyone new must have a sensitivity test . This is simple . A dab of color , perm , straightener , on the back of the neck ,or inside the elbow . If you have a bad reaction it will , burn or itch like crazy , and leave a red mark . Better to have that on a small part , than your whole scalp . so good luck ...hope i helped you out

none. it's the developer.
the heat from your scalp is what makes the color feel like your scalp is burning (or too high volume developer).
if you have ever exercised or brushed your hair before a color it probably burned like crazy!
i always tell my clients to have their hair colored earlier (i'm not a morning person - so not too early) in the day and to not bother to even brush it before coming in. get here right from bed in an old t-shirt (i can get messy sometimes).
patch test 24 hrs. prior to first color to check for allergies. (or at any other time - i don't make them all come in 24 hrs before each color service. there's no time for it)

i won't be able to say this sufficient, do not use manic panic hair dye. i've got had the worst expeirences with it. until you're hair is bleach blonde already, you will might desire to bleach you're hair. (It incredibly damages your hair, so becareful with that). Manic Panic is a semi-permenant dye, and when you bleach your hair, the pegmits from the manic panic and your hair will react. it incredibly is going to reason it to be close to impossible to get out. I dyed my hair lime green with manic panic and it took 3 bleaches to get it out! in any case, i don't recomend manic panic, in any respect. attempt particular outcomes, it is alittle greater expensive than some manufacturers besides the shown fact that it good, effectual and additionally you will possibly be able to %. it up virtually everywhere. good success, :) !
