I've already told her I will study hard and try my best to get in Extension Maths, and I did... But all she told me was :"I'll think about it..."

Tell your mother that you will take complete responsibility for the care and feeding of your cat. Explain that you will clean the litter box and make sure that they cat does not cause any problems in the house. I’ve enclosed some reasons that you can use to explain to your mother why having a cat would be good for you.

Pets Can Improve Your Mood: For those who love animals, it’s virtually impossible to stay in a bad mood when a super-soft cat rubs up against your hand.

Pets Stave Off Loneliness and Provide Unconditional Love: Pets can be there for you in ways that people can’t. They can offer love and companionship, and can also enjoy comfortable silences, keep secrets and are excellent snugglers. And they could be the best antidote to loneliness.

Pets Can Reduce Stress—Sometimes More Than People: While we all know the power of talking about your problems with a good friend who’s also a good listener, recent research shows that spending time with a pet may be even better! Recent research shows that, when conducting a task that’s stressful, people actually experienced less stress when their pets were with them than when a supportive friend or even their spouse was present! (This may be partially due to the fact that pets don’t judge us; they just love us.)

Well I'll try to help. My mom is allergic to cats but she said she will let me try a Siberian cat which is suppose to not bother people with allergies and my mom hatesssssss cats. I have very good behavior at school and I try to help at home even though I'm a little lazy. I don't give her any trouble. Plus I don't really go outside so a cat is perfect. But if you give her problems then that is something. My mom use to say "I'll think about it..." at first when I first mentioned it but I contnued to study about them, their behavior and what they do and since I leaned so much from going to different websites I guessing her and my dad said I can have one. When I move accross the country I can get one. Plus go to petfinder.com or an animal shelter. Tell her your helping out a homeless animal. Also budget how much it will cost to get it started. My cat may come up to 300 dollars, which they don't have a problem with because they had fish and it came up to 600 dollars. If you mother isn't allergic you can probally get one cheaper than 100 dollars then you'll have to shop at petco. You'll have to get what you think your cat needs.

Good Luck and hope you get your cat,
Sydney

Show her how responsible you are. For example do more work around the house and study really hard and it will show her how badly you want a cat. Also it could be that she does not want a cat around the house. I hope this helped. Good Luck!

tell her that getting a cat will help you to understand responsibilities, so you will be aquainted with what you will face in the future. but if that dont work explain why you want a cat. ex. a friend that is easy to explain hurt feelings to or just somebody to play with when you are bored. try this.......
