"where one in the same" ?!?
"we are one and the same", perhaps.
Egrarious spelling and grammar mistakes aside, US and Canada are not one and the same. By that line of reasoning, we should have ONE global nation because all humans are for all intents and purposes 'the same'. Actually, that might solve a lot of problems.

Canadians and Americans may share simliar traits, but we are not "one and the same". As a Canadian, I will state Canada will never become a part of the US. Our lifestyle, politics, foreign policy, health care, crime, environment, population mix and overall lifestyle are vastly different from the US and it will stay that way.

They are not one in the same. There is more freedom in Canada. If there was no Canada where would all the unhappy Americans escape to? Mexico? yeah right.

In your dreams we are the same - Canada is civilised, safe, has a generous welfare system and people care for one another.
US is a dog eat dog society where money is God and where the media is controlled by a minority.

Well, we had made plans to overtake you, but Bush had made such a mess we changed our minds..We have agreed to trade the U.S. to Mexico for the Taco Bell dog instead. I think we really bamboozelled the Mexicans with this free-trade deal..

Having lived in both countries, I can tell you with absolute certainty that they are NOT one and the same! The two countries have many, many differences, are unique in many ways, and both very much have their own "flavour".
